Demand-controlled ventilation system
CO2 concentration level could be used as a measuring tool for estimating the number of people in an enclosed area.
Generally, the one of the biggest energy consumption in a building is in the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning system. By controlling the ventilation based on the actual demand; that is using CO2 sensors to measure the concentration of CO2 in a confined area, we could achieve a balance between good indoor air quality and the energy consumption.
